We Screen Newborns, Don’t We? A New Approach to Public Health Genomics

New technologies such as massively parallel sequencing are beginning to be utilized in clinical medicine. However, the application of robust genomic analysis in the realm of public health faces distinct technical hurdles, as well as unique ethical, legal and social challenges. Dr. Evans will explore how genomic medicine might be effectively applied to improving health of the general population.
