After describing the Israeli healthcare system, Prof. Landau will present the work of the Public Committee for the Expansion of the Medical Health Basket Services, a unique process to decide which new technologies and medications will be available to the Israeli public the following year. She will focus on the scope of carrier screening, prenatal (fetal) testing and on gene therapy.
